About This Role Every position at Common Citizen from seed to sale, is contributing to our mission to serve our fellow citizens of Michigan with the highest quality, safest cannabis product through our highly individualized and education-oriented provisioning centers.
The Harvest team is responsible for harvesting the plants and everything between that and packaging it for sale.
We harvest plants on a weekly basis while also trimming, packaging, and cleaning.
Responsibilities Outlined below is what we see you doing at this point in time.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Handle all company products and tools with extreme care Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and diplsay a high standard of cleanliness and organzation Assure that all annabis products are free from contamination risk at all stages, from propagation to harvest Cut down the plant, weight the plant, and enter weight into tracking platform Visually Identify strains Ability to identify a wide variety of conditions such as plant disease, existence of insects, nutrient deficiencies, etc.
De-leafing and de-bucking plants Hand/Machine Trimming Labeling Product Packaging Product Understanding Harvest Schedule The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:
Degree in Horticulture, Biology, Agriculture, or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
Experience in agricultural or food safety/handling industry is acceptable in lieu of degree.
Computer proficiency is a must.
Experience with cannabis track-and-trace software is a plus.
Efficient cultivation/production work ethic with application of problem-solving skills to overcome daily cultivation/production issues.
Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment processes and options.
Must have accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail.
Can follow company policies and contribute towards the goal of achieving production targets within set timelines.
Good communication and documentation skills.
This is a dynamic team, and as such daily tasks may vary, resulting in a fast paced and lively work environmen Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
